Marsh Harbor

On to Marsh Harbor where we will be in a marina for the holidays. We’re actually at the Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbor Marina, highly recommended by many. We met Glen, the dock master, at the Ft Lauderdale boat show, so we had a little preview. It’s a pretty big marina with a really great cruising community that welcomed us right in. We’ve now joined the Royal Marsh Harbor Yacht Club and the Bahamas National Trust (a non-profit that manages their national parks). The yacht club has all kinds of social activities including happy hour every day. I’m looking forward to checking that out. On Wednesday evening, we head to the Jib Room with a crowd for their famous rib night. These ribs absolutely live up to their hype and we have a great night meeting lots of new friends.
