New Visitors!
We get a small taste of what’s it’s like to be charter crew as we “turn the boat” today. Fortunately, George and Lisa are huge help with laundry and remaking their bed, and while John is dropping them at the ferry and picking up Michele and Jim, I take care of the rest.
It’s pretty exciting to have family and friends visiting and we really want to show everyone what we love about cruising. The Rubeors will be with us for awhile, so we’re going to have lots of opportunities to do different things.
Once they arrive, we head back out to anchor at Royal Island. It’s a day to settle in and play. We get out the stand up paddle board and kayak and head over to explore the mansion ruins again with Jim and Michele. After a nice hike, we take the dinghy over to Russell Island for drinks and snacks at the Sand Bar. Thanks to John and George, we are feasting like kings on lobster, grouper and hogfish.
