What happened to the Blog?

So I just want to say that writing a Blog consistently is a lot of work and easy to do tomorrow. Mañana. Our last post was pre COVID. I can’t believe it. That’s a lot on mañanas.

Once you stop it becomes increasingly difficult to restart.

Do you try to catch up?

Just start with today and move on?

Maybe give it up completely?

Another difficulty is how do you live the moment and really soak it up while always trying to take pictures and remember something to write in the blog? It’s kind of like trying to take the pictures at your children’s wedding. Seeing it from behind the lens is not the same as experiencing it. Unfortunately I am not inclined to pay a professional blog writer/photographer to travel with us.

So that is the trials and tribulations of an amateur blogger. Here is the commitment! This cruising season in the Bahamas I have committed to posting something every day. So starting today, 1/26/2022 I’ll be posting something every day. Might just be a picture. But that’s worth a 1000 words.

Just to repeat.

JOHN POHLE COMMITS TO MAKING A BLOG POST EVERY DAY

Thank you to Bruce and Bonnie on “Odyssey” for this picture of “Elizabeth Anne” crossing the Gulf Stream from Stuart, FL to Westend, Grand Bahamas. Friday 1/21/2022
That’s 12’ deep water on the Little Bahama Bank. So clear and calm we can see sea fans on the ocean floor. Sunday 1/23/22
