It’s not all sand and beaches

Sorry for the picture below. It ain’t pretty, but sometimes that’s life on a boat. We’re hanging on the anchor at Royal Island in Eleuthera. After great passage yesterday the wind picked up to the mid 20’s and it is a good day to stay aboard and work on a project.

Eric and Marian brought me some new Garmin gear to add to my electronics on the boat. So here I am wiring in a network interface box get all of the accessories (2nd depth transducer) to integrate. As you can see it’s a tight fit and more than a little awkward. I am happy to say it worked and now all of the navigation screens see all of the data on the network.

Tried to do this last year and it was a 6 month wait for the parts.
